Label Rouge turbot is full-flavoured and delicious, to please the most discerning palate.
 
The Turbot Quality Association demands the highest levels of expertise in the production of this exceptional fish.
 
The Association comprises: fish farmers from the Atlantic coast - France Turbot (sites at Ile de Noirmoutier and Trėdarzec in the Cotes d’Armor), and the Noirmoutier Sea Farm which provide optimum production conditions; and feed producers - Le Gouessant and Trouw France SA who can satisfy the requirements of the rigorous Standard.

The rigorous demands of the Turbot Quality Association have led to the production of a top quality fish whose fine flavour is acknowledged by consumers and the catering industry.

 
Regular sensory testing is conducted by a consumer panel to confirm the high taste quality of Label Rouge Turbot, particularly the delicacy and firmness of its flesh and its subtle aroma of the sea.

 

Full traceability...

Throughout the Label Rouge production process, every stage from birth to point of sale is strictly monitored. Traceability is a prime concern for producers. Consumers thus have access to the full history of the product they see on the shop counter or in the restaurant.

Exceptional nutritional qualities...

Its white flesh is rich in high quality protein, vitamins and minerals. The fish is low in fat and recognised for its significant Omega 3 fatty acid content.
